It could do with a bit of TLC in the decorating line rather shabby!!
The hotel was comfortable and clean, very good value for money. They need more car paking space.
We found the management very helpful and efficient, rooms comfortable, breakfast excellent and was value for money.
Very nice breakfast.
No evening meal facility. Road adjacent to hotel very noisy from 05:00 a.m. onwards; lack of double glazing in hotel didn't help the situation. Hotel clean but needs some urgent modernisation and maintenance.Male owner polite but blunt on occasions.
Hotel Manager and staff were polite and helpful. Breakfast was good. Everything was clean. The bed was very comfortable, The price was very good. But if I recommended the hotel it would be on the basis of my comments below.
Parking was difficult. It was the first time I have been in a hotel bedroom where the toilet facilities were not separated from the rest of the bedroom by a door! From the size of the radiator, I guess that the room could be extremely hot when the heating was turned on.
The proprietor went out of his way to accommodate me even though my booking was at short notice and there was no one room available for all 5 nights. Accommodation in Falmouth for the dates I wanted was scarce and thanks to Broadmead, I was able to stay, even though this meant moving between rooms during my stay. The inconvenience of this was more than compensated for, by the ability to experience 3 very different rooms, each of which was comfortable and with its own unique character. A good hotel with very attentive staff and comfortable surroundings. I would also recommend the breakfasts
A small detail but in 2 of the rooms, there was no shower attachment over the bath, however pouring jugs were provided.
I did not enjoy my stay
The 'manager' was officious. The double room was twin beds pushed together which as the beds were old made an uncomfortable ridge down the centre. Our bed was not remade for us. There was no complimentaary milk in the room, the tea tray was not resupplied. The bathroom sink was coming away from the wall and the toilet was stained. The shower screen did not fit properly and leaked. The whole hotel needed decorating and the full english breakfast was very small.
As usual the Broardmead did exactly what I wanted it to do, friendly service, friendly staff, clean room and a good breakfast.
It's beginning to look a bit faded from the outside i.e. windows need replaceing.
Away from town centre noise but only a five minute walk away for shops and other town facilities. Good breakfast. Car park was joined to hotel.
Central location with park opposite. Good breakfast.
We were given quite a small room on the second floor which my mother had a little difficulty reaching due to steep and narrow stairs. Meanwhile a much larger room on the first floor remained empty. There may have been an acceptable reason for this.
Info provided not accurate - no restaurant or bar in the evening and decor 1980s
good location; quiet, family atmosphere; friendly, helpful owner; good breakfast; big, nice and light room; big, comfortable bed
small parking outside the hotel
Hotel is convenient for the centre of Falmouth and all local attractions.Staff are friendly, courteous and helpful. Breakfast was excellent
Vriendelijke ontvangst.
